About Us

Capacity Center is a natural gas pipeline information services company.  Our proprietary technology platform and data center is connected to over 100 interstate pipelines in the U.S. We gather, process, and analyze capacity transaction and operational data from every pipeline and provide this information to clients for use in trading, price discovery, market analysis, and many other purposes.

The Capacity Center database stores capacity trades since 1994 and tracks every receipt and delivery point on every pipeline as well as recording every shipper entity and status. This invaluable information is used to provide clients with market analytics and for a wide variety of consulting projects.

Capacity Center is a wholly owned business unit of Skipping Stone.

Greg Lander

President

Greg is the President of Capacity Center, as well as President of Skipping Stone, which owns Capacity Center. Greg was a founding member of GISB (Gas Industry Standards Board – now NAESB). In addition to starting the company, originally as TransCapacity, Greg also started one of the first independent gas marketing companies, Citizens Gas, where he was President and Chairman. Read more

Steve Hinton

Principal & VP Operations, Capacity Center

Steve, VP of Operations, oversees the daily operations of Capacity Center. In addition, he is a Skipping Stone Principal specializing in analysis, simulation and optimization of energy transport and generation systems. Steve is an experienced Mechanical and System Engineer with first-hand knowledge of design, construction and operation of utility plants and infrastructure. Read more.

Donna Stilwell

Network Specialist

Donna is Capacity Center’s Network, Communications, and Security Specialist. She is responsible for establishing and maintaining connectivity with our 100+ trading partners and hundreds of customers, setup and configuration of secure communications channels, and overall network supervision.

Sheila O’Brien

EDI Coordinator/Data Quality Analyst

Sheila manages the timely collection and processing of information, database QA, our capacity release archive, and database design for specialized reports. She also maintains our proprietary historical shipper relationship cross-reference database and produces the monthly awarded capacity report used by customers for independent back-end auditing.

Nancy Katz

Accounting Manager

Nancy is Capacity Center’s accounting manager. In this role she interacts with customers on all accounting matters including invoicing subscribers, facilitating the receipt of payments, and tracking expiration dates to ensure timely subscription renewals.

Kelsey Karas

Operations Analyst

Kelsey has ownership of Capacity Center’s sales and support functions, as well as providing general assistance to our data processing and consulting groups. She is a graduate of Vanderbilt University with post-graduate certifications in Entrepreneurship and Management from Duke and Notre Dame Universities, respectively.
